Tall Ships Races 2024
Tall Ships Races is a major sailing ship race aimed at promoting international friendship and training young people in sailing skills. The sailing events bring together people of different nationalities, religions and cultures and sail around several international ports, promoting international friendship and cooperation.
Helsinki last hosted The Tall Ships Races in 2013 and will welcome the fleet for a fifth time in 2024 - with Hotel Haven also one of the official partners of the event.
Haven is ideally located in the South Harbour, where you can enjoy the festival ambiance and the magnificent sailing ships right next door. Thus, Haven is a great place to stay during the event from 4 to 7 July or to visit the bar and restaurant and experience the Tall Ships Races spirit.

Tall Ships Races at Bar Haven
On the Tall Ships Races weekend 4-6 July, Bar Haven and our lovely courtyard terrace offer a tasty summer special: two Haven burgers or salads & two beers or glasses of house wine for 49 € (normally 60 €).
Plus, our bar manager will create a themed cocktail to get you in the sailing mood for the duration of the event. Ahoy, and welcome to enjoy!

In addition to Bar Haven's signature food and drink menu, we will be serving a special Tall Ships Races dishes with maritime flavours at the bar, terrace and in the stunning Restaurant Haven during the event weekend. Stop by to enjoy and admire the ships – from the restaurant you have a view directly onto the majestic sailing event in the South Harbour – or relax at the cozy bar and terrace.
